But this is the band I've been in for the past couple months, tell me what y'all think? Feel free to add us.

I don't really write in LJ about anything serious anymore, because it's kind of a dumb way to get points across...but this just made me furious.

So, I got into an argument online with some guy that was just bashing Israel for all this crap. He was trying to pull up fake facts on me thinking I wouldn't know better, he was holding Israel responsible for the start of the war...you catch my drift. Then, he started attacking the whole concept of a Jewish state, implying that we should be sent to Argentina or Kenya...This went back and forth, everytime his responses relying more on fact fabrication and talking out his asshole.
Eventually I got to thinking...who is this fuck? I assume it's some lebanese-american, or some terrorist...

THEN, I read to the very end of the page...
He's a JEW!!!! A Neturei Karta Jew.

I've decided that there's almost nothing I hate more in the world than Jews who refuse to open their eyes. Our own people rooting for our destruction, refusing to put everything into perspective. Neturei Karta are an embarrasment to our people.
Too bad it doesn't end there. There are many everyday jews off the streets in America protesting against the Israeli Hostility, I've seen them...demanding we end our occupation, our aggression, and disproportionate response.
If only these bastards would do their research. This isn't like an Iraq (which I personally was more on the pro-side than others at first, but was definitely flawed)...there is almost no debatable point in the whole conflict.

I can't believe that people are still bothering to complain and worry about that artical in the lions tale which discusses homosexuality at JDS. These days, people will take any opportunity they can to complain about diction, political correctness, and the "hidden meaning" and significance behind every word used.

The definition of tolerance is "The capacity for or the practice of recognizing and respecting the beliefs or practices of others". What part of this is offensive, and why do you choose to construe it as so? Is this a deep seeded inferiority complex that leads to defensive behavior whenever someone other than yourself writes about homosexuality?

Instead of pretending we're in english class analyzing every shade of meaning behind a word, lets just pretend that we're reading a newspaper - no matter how piss-poor - and that the purpose of the article is to discuss and report the events of the school.

If you're so damn upset about the beliefs of the religion that you'd rather not learn from a rabbi, why not go to walter johnson, where you don't have to worry about that, and can wear pink till nightfall? Or would you rather take the religion, pick it apart, and just choose the aspects you like? hell, maybe you should make your own religion.

Stuff andddd stuff
Somehow this semester I've found time to attend an absurd amount of concerts, some of which I will briefly describe to you.

The most recent being, THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS! Which was sick.
They really knew how to work a crowd well, and were fun performers. I must say though, the John who plays the keyboard/accordian/computer is a psycho...I can see it in his eyes. But anyway, I had a great time. Thanks to Aaron for telling me to come.

Before that was Matisyahu, who is awesome always...no need to say more.

Also, I saw this dude Derek Trucks.
He plays with the Allman Brothers Band, when they go on tour now. He's only like, 28, and is one of the best guitarists I've ever heard, but is really humble about it. They play jamband blues stuff. He will be going on tour with Eric Clapton this summer too. What I loved about that concert was the audience. It was a completely southern crowd. (And I mean rednecks with handlebar moustaches, bandanas, and lots of drinking). It was sweet being in that sorta setting, because everyone was really into it in a different way than the usual concert crowd I experience.

Then there's Ben Folds, who I am now in love with.
I had no idea his concert would be that good. I am now in love with this dude, which kinda scares me...because last I checked...

But anyway, there's more, but not up to writing about it.
I'm going to see dragonforce next week, which will be un-fucking-believable.
They're a over-the-top dramatic metal band, with exaggerated vocals and amazingly unnecessary, yet extremey ridiculous guitar solos. Check out this (watch it all, the guitar duel at the end will make it all worth your while): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8Msk6L_Avo&search=dragonforce%20fire

Courtesy of our loving friends in Iran
"The first target is Israel. For us, that is the battlefield. All the Jews are targets, whether military or civilian"

"Israel will be blown away in a storm"

It definitely sounds like Iran is developing its nuclear technology for other reasons than attacking Israel...right.

I pray to G-d Bush or Olmert is planning some big preemptive strike right now...

There are days where you love college and never want it to end,
and then there are night like last night where you get busted by Campus Police for having a handle of vodka in your room, and you sort of want to graduate already...

I cant fucking beleive i have to go to student court next week!
If im found guilty not only would i lose my housing and my football job, but the citation would be also be sealed on my record.

The Day I Found a Human Hand
Yah, so you know how Dave Chappelle jokes about all black people having a bloody glove in their homes?
So someone must have dropped their bloody glove on the escalator at Friendship Heights...and must have forgotten to take whoevers FUCKING HAND OUT OF THE GLOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Because I was definitely walking up the escalator (it wasn't operating at the time), and came across this hand. And it scared the fuck out of me...it wasn't still bleeding, it had stopped bleeding for at least several hours...
Yah. I'm guessing by now someone else has found it.
Always excitement.

Today I got thrown out of a bar.
It was so fucking ridiculous at the time, because the guy who did it was simply being an ass.
But looking back on it, I think it's hilarious.
Long story, but in the end, I am now in favor of more strict immigration laws.

I don't really update anymore, but I will just one more time to say that Lez Zeppelin = FUCKING UNBELIEVABLE!
First off, in all honesty, the guitarist was at least as good as Jimmy Page. She pulled all of his tricks, and did them on par or better than he did. The dummer and bassist were beasts. And the lead singer was the best female singer that I've seen live, not to mention that she was really hot. So overall, great time. Fun show. I would definitely see them again.

At the end of the month I'm going to go see Lez Zeppelin...
The all lesbian tribute band to the great Led Zeppelin.
Should be interesting.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of John Lennon's death.
Though his death shouldn't stick out in relation to the millions that die every year, for some reason every December 8th I end up reflecting on life.
One thing's for sure, the world is a very different place because of him.

"You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one"

Today I took a walk to the wishing well.
I sat there in the cold for about 3 hours, all by myself, and stared inside at my reflection.
It felt so good to think for a while.
I threw a penny in. And then I cried, and ate a biscuit.

Hmm...School or Livejournal? Livejournal...shit
List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your Livejournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.

Blank Generation - Richard Hell and the Voidoids
Rebel Yell - Billy Idol
The Passenger - Iggy Pop
Dirty Love - Frank Zappa
Space Oddity - David Bowie
Ballad of a Thin Man - Bob Dylan
Feed my Frankenstein - Alice Cooper

Alright...are you happy now?

The time has come, I'm officially tagging:
Mr. Sperling
